Clean Cycle Bake (Smart f-curve Bake for Blender

Bake down cycling F-curves using only existing, manually placed keys. Unlike Blender's normal bake tool, Clean Cycle Bake won't create a lot of random keys and destroy your keyframe handle data - It will preserve all your beautiful f-curve shapes and cleanly move them into the bake time range.

Perfect for cleaning up looping animations in a non-destructive way. Functions similarly to Maya's smart baking.

• Access from anywhere by pressing F3 and searching "Clean Cycle Bake". Add it to your quick menu for easy access

Installation Guide

1. Download and unzip the file (it's important to unzip it)
2. Go to Blender's Addon section in preferences, go into the folder you've just unzipped, select "CleanCycleBake.py" and press install
3. Click the checkbox to enable the plugin

The Clean Cycle Bake panel should now be visible in the Graph Editor under the "F-curve" section in the N panel.

Use Guide

1. Select bones you want to bake down. Lock or mute ones you don't want affected
2. Select the bake range or use the scene range for the bake
3. Choose whether you want to overwrite the existing action or create a new one
4. Select Trim Timeline if you want to remove the cycle modifier and all frames outside of the bake range
