Easy installation

Change the extension to .py if it got converted to .txt during download. Open preferences in Blender 2.8, under addons, click Install and locate the file. Check the checkbox and save preferences so the tool is always there for you :)

How to use

The menu is called 'Object Snap' and is located under the Tool in the N panel.

If you're matching objects: Select as many objects as you want and then select the object whose attributes you want to copy last. Click Snap Object(s).

If you're matching object to bone: Select the object, select the armature and enter pose mode, select the bone, and click click Snap Object(s).

note: You can right click 'Snap Object(s)' and add it Quick Favourites. Then you can quickly use it by pressing 'q'.
